Splash Island is an inflatable water park manufactured by Wibit Sports GmBH a German watersports company who has been producing commercial grade inflatable water sports products for over 18 years. Wibit products can be found in over 200 locations around the world, but Splash Island is the first in the Eastern Caribbean.

FUN IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT

Kids, families and weekend warriors alike will delight in this Caribbean water park's many obstacle-course style features. Splash Island St. Lucia's features include a trampoline, climbing wall, monkey bars,  a swing, a slide, hurdles, double rocker, flip, and water volleyball. See Gallery.

The water park is in compliance with the strictest of European safety requirements (EN 15649) and testing related to materials and performance. The Water Park is staffed by a team of certified lifeguards. All users of the water park (who must be 6 years of age and older and 3 1/2 feet tall) will be required to wear life vests irrespective of their swimming abilities. 

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER - 2016 ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR

Splash Island Water Park St. Lucia is the brainchild of Bay Gardens Resorts director, Julianna Ward-Destang. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Julianna spent the last decade plus gaining valuable business and finance experience first as a Senior Accountant at Deloitte and Touche in Canada, then as the Director of Finance for Bay Gardens Resorts where she helped engineer a dramatic turnaround in the family-owned resort chain's fortunes in the aftermath of the great recession. Ever the innovator, Julianna conceptualized Splash Island in March of 2015 and was able to make her dream of introducing the Caribbean's first open-water sports park a reality on August 1, 2015. 

Julianna's creativity was recognized in 2016 as Splash Island Water Park was named as a Finalist for 3 awards at the 2016 St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. Splash Island was nominated for more awards than any other company that included an impressive field of established businesses. Splash Island was a Finalist for the Idea of the Year Award, the Prime Minister's Award for Innovation. Julianna was a Finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award which she won joining an impressive list of past winners which includes her mother in law, Bay Gardens Resorts Founder, Joyce Destang, O.B.E. 

A devoted wife and mother, Julianna believes that there is nothing more important than quality time with loved ones and it is her pleasure to bring the ultimate family attraction to her native St. Lucia on the island's best beach, Reduit Beach in Rodney Bay Village, St. Lucia's entertainment capital.
